Connecticut requires at least one staff member with current CPR certification to be on-site at all times during licensed childcare center operation, as mandated by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. Childcare providers must maintain Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certification with a hands-on skills component. Coaching permits require annual CPR certification and first aid course completion every three years.
