Your Red Cross digital certificate

If you took a Red Cross class, your certificate is official, has a Red Cross number and QR code, and lives in your portal.

If you took an American Red Cross class, your certification is an official Red Cross digital certificate. It is issued by the Red Cross itself and appears in your portal automatically after your class — there is nothing extra you need to do to receive it.

What makes it official

  • It has a real Red Cross certificate number.
  • It has a QR code an employer can scan to confirm it is genuine.
  • It is recognized anywhere a Red Cross certification is accepted.
How to view and download it
  1. 1Go to https://cpr.co/portal and log in.
  2. 2Click on Wallet (or the Wallet tab on mobile).
  3. 3Find your Red Cross certification in the list.
  4. 4Click Download PDF to save or print it. The PDF shows your name, certificate number, dates, and the QR code.
💡
Tip: To prove your certification to an employer, you can show them the QR code on your certificate. Scanning it confirms with the Red Cross that your certificate is real and current.
ℹ️
Note: Your certificate appears once your instructor submits the completed class to the Red Cross. This usually happens within a day or two of your class. If it has been longer than that and you still do not see it, contact the training provider that ran your class, or email support@cpr.co.

When it is time to renew, search for a class of the same type and book it like any other class. See "How to find a renewal class." We also email you reminders before your certificate expires.
