Basic Life Support (BLS)

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the gold-standard CPR certification for healthcare professionals, required by nearly every hospital, clinic, dental office, and EMS agency. The American Red Cross BLS program (r.25) aligns with the latest 2025 ILCOR/AHA Consensus on Science guidelines. This in-person course covers the science of CPR, the cardiac chain of survival, high-quality chest compressions, bag-valve-mask ventilation, two-rescuer CPR, AED use, team dynamics, and relief of choking in adults, children, and infants. Hands-on skills practice is conducted throughout under instructor supervision. Upon successful completion, you receive an American Red Cross BLS certification valid for two years. The course also awards 0.5 CEUs / 4.5 contact hours accredited by IACET.
